2026 Prep – Year 6 Enrolments

Pakenham Hills Primary School welcomes applications for enrolment in accordance with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy.

How to Apply

1. Download and complete the Enrolment Application Form (button below).
2. Submit the completed form to the school via:
              – Email: pakenham.hills.ps@education.vic.gov.au
              – In Person: School Office, 15 Kennedy Rd, Pakenham
3. We will contact you regarding the outcome of your application and the next steps in the enrolment process.

Supporting Documents

When submitting your application, please include copies of the following documents:

• Proof of your child’s permanent residential address (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement)

Placement Policy

Our school adheres to the Department’s Placement Policy, which prioritises enrolment for students residing within our designated neighbourhood zone.

To determine your designated neighbourhood school, visit the Find My School website.

Students residing outside our zone may be considered for enrolment subject to available capacity.

Enrolment Restrictions

Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.6 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). Approved entry criteria for our school for the 2026 school year are:

• students who live within the school zone
• students with a sibling attending the school at the same time
• students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.

Students seeking enrolment in Foundation must meet one of the above criteria to be eligible for enrolment in 2026. Students seeking enrolment in other year levels continue to be subject to the Placement Policy.

The department will review this enrolment restriction yearly and provide updated advice as necessary for the subsequent school year.
