Following completion of the Placement Request form in the VicStudents Portal, placement offers will be sent out from Monday 29th July. Please use VicStudents Portal Link below to complete a placement request.
The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2025 school year.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Pakenham Hills Primary School.

You can find information and resources about the timeline, including factsheets and a poster at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep). You can also download the ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers’ from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available from 15 April 2024).

SEALS
Pakky SEALS – Social Emotional and Academic Learning Skills Development Program
Our Program allows children to develop and practise some of the pre-learning skills necessary for success at school. Oral language, fine motor skills, pre-literacy and pre-numeracy readiness are a focus of the program.
Children will participate in directed activities which will extend their learning skills. These skills, along with strategies and behaviours will have them well prepared to begin formal schooling at the beginning of their Prep year.
Recent studies suggest that children’s adjustment to their first year of school is strongly influenced with the school setting . We aim to have your child feeling safe and secure in the school environment to ensure they have a positive start at school.
We aim to engage our students by planning meaningful and enriching learning experiences so students can experience success. We have used our school values to determine three expected behaviours. These behaviours underpin everything that we do at Pakenham Hills Primary School.
- Be a Learner
- Be Respectful
- Be Safe
Pakky SEALS sessions will run throughout Term 4 in 2024. These sessions are only available to families who have completed the enrolment process.
