School Strategic Plan
All Victorian government schools are required to develop a four-year School Strategic Plan (SSP) in the term following a School Review, with approval from the principal and school council president.
The creation and publication of the SSP is mandated by the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) and Ministerial Order 470. The SSP outlines the school’s philosophy, goals, targets for improving student outcomes, and the strategies to achieve them.
After a School Review, the Key Directions established by the core review panel and outlined in the review report form the basis for the school’s SSP goals, targets, and Key Improvement Strategies (KIS).
Annual Report
Annual Reports are provided to the community of Pakenham Hills Primary School as an account of the school’s operations and achievements throughout the year. It provides a detailed account of the progress the school has made to provide high-quality educational opportunities for all students, as set out in the school plan. It outlines the findings from self–assessment that reflect the impact of key school strategies for improved learning and the benefit to all students from the expenditure of resources, including equity funding.
Annual Implementation Plan (AIP)
The Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) outlines how the key improvement strategies from the School Strategic Plan, along with other major projects, will be implemented and monitored throughout the year. It helps schools to:
- Plan and communicate their goals and actions for the year.
- Ensure resources are allocated effectively to achieve targets.
- Monitor progress and measure success.
